Nineteen of the Russian's 21 titles have been achieved on hard courts
A revitalized the Russian player won his first championship for over two years with victory over opponent Moutet in the tournament title decider.
The Russian, a former top-ranked player, has experienced a torrid period, managing just one match at the big events and suffering a difficult moment at the US Open.
The player's inconsistency on the tennis tour - and issues with his serve in specific - caused him dropping out of the top ten and eventually splitting with former coach Gilles Cervara.
Now working with his coach and Goetzke, the tennis star has gradually advanced in the past month - peaking in a closely contested competitive triumph over Frenchman Moutet.
This marks Medvedev's first championship following the Italian tournament and initial on a hard surface since March of 2023.
The win also indicates Medvedev has secured twenty-one titles at twenty-one distinct events.
"This marks the first occasion I'm at a event with my children together, so to win a trophy is especially meaningful," stated ranked player Daniil Medvedev.
"This championship is in honour of my second daughter my daughter, because the initial championship I achieved when my older daughter Alisa was born was for her."
The athlete, the former major winner, had lost his previous six championship matches, featuring in that event earlier this year.
The player's retrieving play style and regular emotional displays on the playing surface had led commentators to wonder if his capacity to play at the elite level was concluded.
Yet the 29-year-old has altered his approach in the last few weeks, striving to approach the net and play assertively, reinforced by an enhanced serving game.
He fought back from a disadvantage in the opening set against the difficult Frenchman, winning four of the last five games to go ahead.
The pair exchanged service breaks in the following set before Moutet, striving for his initial professional championship, gained dominance to force a final set.
Moutet defended 4 early-game break points in a tight deciding set before Medvedev broke to fifteen to serve for the match.
Fittingly, Medvedev secured the win with a rally at the front of the court, with the Frenchman unable to handle a return after a lengthy match.
